Could be done with full Prot too btw, a little slower. I did the UK one as full Prot on the beta for a test, could do the entire first corridor in one pull, which is an advantage over Revenge Prot which prefers smaller pulls. If Arms/Prot didn't exist it would still be the best Warrior grind, just with full Prot.

Go Protection, sounds counter intuitive but Revenge is a stupidly hard hitting ability, buffing it in the Prot tree and getting other +dmg Prot talents will make you a killing machine, much stronger than Arms and Fury. This spec is still viable if you don’t intend to do any dungeons/group content but gets much better if you do.
If you plan on utilizing arms/revenge then axes are by far the best, if not and your racial doesn't have weapon skill, then it doesn't matter. Ahh gotcha , that makes sense . That looks like a tooltip from a later version of the game or something. Revenge doesn’t generate rage and isn’t reset in wotlk. It has a short cd ~4s. There is a talent in the arms tree near the bottom that reduces the cooldown and can be stacked with the prot warrior imp revenge to get a similar behavior though.

You need to be Fury or Arms. Leveling as prot in wotlk is best leveling for warrior due to crazy natural dmg of revenge, now it does 50 dmg at lvl 70. Needless to say you should be leveling 2hfury or arms, or wait wotlk prepatch if you really want to level as prot.
